Every event has a story. We find it.
Komunion is a documentary series that goes beyond the stage, the flyer, and the sold-out crowd. Each episode explores the human stories behind events — the DJs shaping dancefloors, the rising artists finding their audience, and the promoters risking everything to make the night happen.
The name comes from the Latin communio — to share something together. That's what events are at their core. A room full of strangers hearing a song for the first time. A crowd moving to the same beat. A city coming alive after dark. That moment when everyone in the room is feeling the same thing — that's komunion.
We spell it with a K because this isn't a dictionary word. It's a brand. It's ours.
We started in London and West Africa — two of the most vibrant event cultures on the planet — with a phone, a mic, and the stories that were already out there waiting to be told. Every episode is a window into a world most people never see: the chaos backstage, the phone call that nearly cancelled the show, the DJ who drove four hours to play a 45-minute set.
New episodes every two weeks on YouTube.
We're always looking for DJs with a story, artists with new music, and events with something real behind them. If that's you, tell us about it.
